1.       去卢浮宫的公交车  Bus to the Louvre

Mary : Is there a bus line that can take me to the Louvre ?

John : Yes , but you’ll need to transfer several lines to get there .

Mary : I can see that .

John : First take bus No. 5 for three stops . Get off at the third stop and then get on bus No. 7 for eight stops . This will bring you to the Louvre .

玛丽：这里有开往卢浮宫的公交车吗？

约翰：有，但是你需要转几趟车才能到达那里。

玛丽：我想也是的。

约翰：先乘5路车，坐三站。在第三站下车然后换乘7路车，做八站。下车后你就到达卢浮宫了。

Mary : Hello , I’d like to get to the Eifel Tower from the Louvre . Can you show me what stop I need to get off at ?

John : Do you want to get to the south or north of the Tower ? There is not a bus directly at the tower .

Mary : In that case I’d like to take a taxi to the Tower .

John : I wouldn’t recommend that because all the taxis will be full at this hour.

Mary : I see . I guess I’ll just take the bus to get to the Tower . I’ll take the bus No. 8 to get to south of the tower .

John: That sounds good .The south stop is usually faster to arrive at than the north stop .

Mary : Great . Thanks for the info !

美国的公交系统没有中国那么发达。中国遍地都是公交车网络，美国有些直线的公交车最长可能两个小时才来一趟，一旦没赶上，恐怕就得耐下心来等了。大城市的公交系统也不是很发达。纽约的公交车相当好一些，但依然没有中国那么发达，而且也不可能有中国公交的价格。传说中的灰狗也挺贵的，而且搭乘它去旅游挺累的，因为时间较长。在美国坐公交，学生一般用学生证可以免费，学校里一般也会有专门为学生服务的车，不过仅是学校范围的。
