Using Prefixes with Nouns, verbs and Adverbs名词、动词和副词的前缀
前缀不仅可以放在形容词前面还可以和动词、名词、副词一直使用。一般表示否定的前缀有下面这些。
Verbs动词
●unpark 打开；取出
She unpacked her suitcases.她没有整理她的行李。
●undo解开
Please help me undo these buttons.请邦我解开这些扣子。
●dislike不喜欢
Ｉdislike your habit of interrupting everything I say. 我说什么你打断，我不喜欢你这个习惯。
●disagree 不同意
You always disagree with me.你总是不同意我的看法。
●maltreat虐待
He was convicted of maltreating dogs.他被指控虐待狗。
●mistake弄错
I mistookhim for the Prime Minister. 我错以为他是总理大人。
Adverbs副词
The weather was unexpectedly fine.天气出乎意料地好。
The scheme was postponed indefinitely. 计划无限期地延期。
She looked at me disapprovingly.她不赞同她看着我。
We laughed irreverently.我们不屑地大笑。
Nouns名词
That sort of behaviour always ends in unhappiness.这种行为通常会导致不愉快的结果。
I will not tolerate inefficiency.我不能容忍没有效率。
Men have always dreamed of immortality.人们总是梦想长生不死。
Rohertson’s non-cooperation meant that the trial could not be completed.罗伯逊的不合作意味着审判不能完结。
The concert was a non-event, inmy opinion.在我看来这声音乐会只是摆摆样子而已。不是什么大事。
The meeting ended in disagreement. 会议以没有达成一致而告终。
