PAST SPECULATION: NEGATIVES 对过去的推测：否定句
常有“如果没……的话，大概会……吧/大概就不会……吧”的推测。
其形式如下所示：
If+主语+had not +过去分词, 主语+would (not) have +过去分词
例如：
If they had not cheated they would have lost.
如果他们没有作假，大概就会输掉这场比赛吧。
If they had not cheated they would not have won.如果他们没有作假，大概不会赢吧。
常缩写成下面这样：
If they hadn’t cheated, they would’ve lost.
If they hadn’t cheated, they would’t have won.

今天我们学习对过去进行推测的疑问句：
What would you have done if he had arrived？如果那时候他到了，你会做什么？
Would he have won if he hadn’t cheated? 如果他没有作假，他会赢吗？
SPECULATION & THE VERB ‘HAPPEN’ 推测和动词happen
Happen(发生)常用在“发生了什么事”，“出了什么事”等句子里。可以用在所有的时态里：
I can’t see.What’s happening? 我不明白。发生了什么事？
You look upset. What has happened? 你看起来心情很糟。出什么事了？
What happened at the parth last night? 昨晚聚会上发生了什么事？
Happen也常用在表示推测的疑问句里，相应的条件句类型如下：
条件句类型0：
What happens if you heat ice?如果你把冰加热会怎么样？
条件句类型1：
What will happen if there is a war?如果有战争会发生什么？
条件句类型2：
What would happen if the test falled?如果你考试不及格，会怎么样？
条件句类型3：
What would have happened if the team had lost?如果那个队输了，会发生什么呢？
